When using a phone line to transmit alarms in the VirtuAlarm receiver phone number of  1-866-517-5335if the caller-ID is unique, you can enter the caller-ID as the DEVICE ID when setting up the account in VirtuAlarm.  If the caller-ID is NOT UNIQUE, such as the case when using a 3rd party device, (ie AlarmNet, Uplink, Telguard etc…) , you can use the 4-digit account number the device is sending instead.  However, we recommend pre-registering your Customer and 4-digit acocunt number before installation, because if the 4-digit account number you want to add is already taken in our system, you will need to change the account number before it can be accepted.  Additionally, you must use at least one (1) alpha-charter in your 4-digit acocunt number. (ie 1234 or 5678 vs. B234 or 2B34 or 2BC8 etc…) or an addition $1.00 fee will be charged each month as numeric only account numbrs are limited to only 9,999.

Use of the VirtuAlarm toll free number of 1-866-517-5335 to report either by caller-ID or 4-Digit account number will increase your cost of service by $1.00 per month to cover the cost of the toll free phone line services.  

If you cannot reprogram the alarm panel due to not having the installer codes, you  can use either or Digital Diverter (DD2) for burglary alarm panels or a pair of our UL FIRE diverters for 2 line Fire Alarm Panels.  Both shown below are pre-programmed to send signals to the VirtuAlarm receivers
