MINI-UPS Back-Up 12VDC Power Supply
Most standalone alarm devices, including alarm transmitters are powered by a standard transformer. When there is a power outage, the device loses power and can no longer properly operate. In the past, the only option was to use a bulky and costly UPS systems purchased through an electronics or retail store.
Our MINI-UPS is slightly larger than the standard power transformer, but has a built-in back-up battery to provide continuous 12-VDC power for up to 8 hours in the event of a local power failure.
