(1) Purchase your non-VirtuAlarm device from any source you wish.

(2) Activate your device using your own account.

(3) Affiliates receive their own “AP??” Dealer ID and a block of 100 reserved 4-digit account numbers when they join. When activating your device, the Affiliate is to use one of their issued 4-digit *alpha numeric account numbers . The last 4-digit alpha numeric account number will be the same in the VirtuAlarm billing side as it is in the Central Station side.

  • Example: Affiliate # AP99 activates a ‘UP-LINK” device with the last 4-digits of the account number being D109.

  • The Dealer will send the alarm signals to their issued Toll Free Number. (See Dealer Form # 16313687781)

  • When the “UP-LINK” device is activated, it reports signals into the Central Station on Line Card #AP00.

  • Therefore, the full 8-digit Central Station account number will be AP00D109 , and last 4-digits “D109″ will match the 4-digit account number entered by the Affiliate in the VirtuAlarm New Customer Setup section in step #2.

  • Until further notice, Non-VirtuAlarm devices will not report through the VirtuAlarm platform, but will instead be sent directly into the central station for alarm processing.

(4) Upon completion of step #1, please go to step #2 -> 

*NOTE: If the 3rd party provider (ie. AlarmNet) does not allow Alpha charters as part of their 4-digit account number, replace the 1st digit with the position the alpha charter is in the alphabet. Example B123 = 2123 C123 = 3123 D123 = 4123 E123 = 5123 F123 = 6123
